If your goal is to have
a restaurant business which is growing and profitable, look to those who have
success.
One of the things I love about
creating marketing plans in the restaurant business: transparency and access to
customer's experiences in competing restaurants. It is great to visit a competitor,
stand in line, and listen to what customers are talking about (both the good and the
bad). Better than surveys as people share their thoughts in public.
I hope you are not focused
only on your inner four walls.... Listen to your customers whether they be inside your
restaurant or another. (it is enjoyable listening to their remarks in the "more
than perfect" restaurants.)
